Three broad climate patterns, and the indicators that pick each one up.
Humid coasts: sebum and congestion
Mumbai, Chennai, Kochi, Kolkata and the other coastal cities: sebum, pores, blackheads and porphyrin are usually where the report starts, with UV spots close behind. Scalp: oil and dandruff.
Dry winters and dust: barrier and sensitivity
Delhi NCR, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Lucknow and the north: moisture, skin barrier, redness map and sensitivity heat map matter more, especially in winter. Strong summers add pigment.
Sunny plateaus: pigment and combination skin
Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Indore and similar: pigmentation leads, and zone scoring shows combination skin — an oily T-zone with dry cheeks on one face.
The caveat
Climate shapes tendencies, never individuals. Scan every client and read their report, not their postcode. Background: what each light reveals.
